Canadian Domain Drop Lists

Canadian Domain Drop Lists

Did you know the estimated population of Canada in 2014 is over 35 million people? Believe it or not, this country is actually the world’s second-largest country by total area and the economy isn’t doing too bad either. With all this population and growth, you can bet there is plenty of money to be made in Canadian (.CA) domain name market. The .CA domain extension doesn’t really work like many of the others such as COM and NET. There isn’t a set time that these domain names delete each day and if you plan to drop catch expired .CA domains then you’re gonna need to know when they will become available again. This quick article will give you a short run through on how you can look over the upcoming deleting domains directly from the Canadian registry (also known as CIRA). Along with that, you will also learn exactly which day and time they delete each week so you can drop catch them!

First off, .CA domain names only drop one day out of the week. That day is every Wednesday. Secondly, expired Canada domains only drop between 1:00PM-2:00PM CST every Wednesday. If you want to look over which domains will be deleting you can do this directly from the CIRA website Here. Just visit that website and select the preferred date under “To Be Released” Domain Names. You will now be able to view all upcoming deleting .CA domains!

I’ve monitored the .CA drop lists for a while now and have seen a number of great domains drop and get picked up for pennies on the dollar. If you don’t think Canadian domains sell then just look over some of these recent sales:
FlipKart.ca – $6,879 – 5/13/2014
Dental.ca – $22,600 – 2/26/2014
VacationExpress.ca – $6,500 – 11/10/2013
Label.ca – $11,950 – 10/31/2013
